Opening set by The Fatherline
Putting an authentically British spin on the country-inspired music they have absorbed, the four-piece have individually played all over the world, performing in legendary venues such as The Ryman, The Grand Ole Opry, The Bluebird, Graceland and Hyde Park.
A line-up of seasoned and versatile musicians, The Fatherline are Tim Prottey-Jones (VOX, GUITAR, KEYS), Rich Watson (GUITAR, BV’s) & Steve Marks (BASS, BV’s).
Their influences range from Shawn Mullins to John Mayer, Aimee Mann to Margo Price, The Eagles to Ruston Kelly, Jewel to Edwin McCain and from Calexico to all of the unsung heroes, the session musicians like Tom Bukovac and Shawn Tubbs.
Prottey-Jones said of the name: “The premise of this band has always been about writing from experience, about what has come before us. And with that in mind, we started thinking about our ancestry, our DNA and what makes us, us!”
Describing their sound, they said: “If Jason Isbell and John Paul White were stuck in week-long after school detention.”
