The concert, which was held to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, took place on Sunday evening behind Windsor castle, the long-running residence of the Royal Family, on a custom-built stage.
The night celebrated musical and theatrical talent from across the UK and Commonwealth, and included internationally famous American musicians, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, who were amongst the headliners of the evening.
One performance was by the group The Coronation Choir, which was made to showcase and celebrate the diverse communities and cultures across the UK and Commonwealth.
Stephanie Horacio is one of the musicians who performed in the choir, and says that everyone deserves a chance to be “heard, loved and cared for”.
She also feels proud of the Coronation Choir’s step in the right direction when it comes to representing lots of different communities and cultures.
Overall, the Coronation Concert was an enjoyable and characterful night, which showcased some of the incredibly talented people across the Commonwealth and the increasing diversity of both the UK and the world.
