He then asks his partner: “Please marry me.”

The woman appears to accept the proposal before the man places the ring on her left hand’s ring finger.
The couple then share a kiss as diners watch on and cheer.
The newly engaged man immediately jumps back to his feet and celebrates, with people around the restaurant cheering him on.
His partner then appears to try to kiss him again as he continues celebrating around the restaurant.
The unexpected proposal was captured on camera and has since attracted a huge reaction online.
The viral video has since prompted plenty of reaction online, with one commenter describing the proposal as “the most Croydon thing ever”.

The unusual choice of venue also caught the attention of viewers, with one joking that the man had proposed “with a Haribo ring”.
But among the jokes were plenty of messages of support for the newly engaged couple.
One commenter said they were happy for the pair and joked that McDonald’s should have given them a free 20-piece Sharebox to celebrate.
They added that the fast-food chain should follow KFC’s lead and cater their wedding.
Another viewer wished the couple “everything of the best and love for many years to come”.
The proposal was also welcomed as a rare feel-good moment for the borough.
The commenter who suggested the free McDonald’s feast said it was “nice to not see something completely depressing happening in Croydon”.
