Why London Tube services are disrupted during the evening rush today

They are being advised to check their journeys before setting off, with parts of the Bakerloo line currently suspended and delays reported on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines.

The problems are affecting travel during one of the busiest times of the day, when services are typically under increased pressure between 4pm and 7pm.

According to TfL’s latest service updates, several lines are currently experiencing delays or suspensions.

Bakerloo line

The Bakerloo line is experiencing severe delays across the route, with no service running between Queen’s Park and Piccadilly Circus due to an earlier customer incident.

Tickets are being accepted on London bus services and Thameslink while the disruption continues.

Jubilee line

The Jubilee line is running with minor delays across the entire line because of train cancellations.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Metropolitan line

The Metropolitan line is experiencing minor delays between Moor Park and Amersham while a faulty train is being fixed at Chalfont & Latimer.

A good service is operating on the rest of the line.

All other London Underground lines are currently reported to be running with a good service.
